Moses was a very meek fellow, just once he let his temper get away from him. That was at the very last when the 40 years were over, and they pressed him a little too far. Of course, remember at that time he was 120 years old; what do you expect of a man 120 years old? He stood 40 years of their bad manners in the wilderness (that God had stood too) and gotten along just fine. But that last time he just let go, and of course, the Lord told him immediately that he would not get to enter the Land, and he wouldn’t get to lead Israel into the Land – someone else would get to do that!

RD 101 - The Unity

There are those among the liberal and modernistic religionists who talk a good bit about “unity”. They go about using various stratagems and staging numerous meetings to bring about their kaleidoscopic unities. Sometimes Bible believers are criticized for not participating in these efforts. They should sincerely consider Eph. 4. This is the great unity chapter of His Holy Word spoken to the Church Who is His Body. Eph.4:1 reads from the Workman’s Interlinear: “I, therefore, the prisoner in Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith you were called.” It should be obvious, that none of us believers in any sense can deserve the treatment we have received of Our Lord and Saviour, The Father, or The Holy Spirit.

Seriously considering the creation of the vast universe, the planetary systems, the Earth, the atmosphere, the elements, plant & animal life and the complex miracle of human life; to realize the Creator of all just being on Earth in our form leads one to exclaim in dumbfounded astonishment; “how can that be?!!” I’m sure the apostle John had these thoughts as he testifies in I Jo.1:1&2 “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon (meaning gazed at in admiration) and our hands have handled, of the Word of Life; (for the Life was manifested, and we have seen It, and bear witness and shew unto you that Eternal Life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)” Certainly one of the most tremendous affirmations of witness ever uttered or written; awesome!
