The Holy Spirit thru the Apostle Paul speaks of Moses, one of the most important men of God in all of Scripture, in Heb. 11:24-27 “By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of the Pharaoh’s daughter; choosing rather to suffer affliction with the People of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured as seeing Him Who is invisible”

Joshua, the son of Nun, the successor of Moses, and one of only two people allowed to enter The Promised Land from over one million Israelites who wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, in Jos. 24:14&15 states “Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve Him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve the Lord. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” Heb. 11:6.

Thru the faithful vessel, the Apostle Paul, The Holy Spirit declares in Rom. 10:9-11, 13, 16&17 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture saith ‘Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed’; for ‘whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, ‘Lord who hath believed our report?’ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

The beauty, honor & excellence whereby vessels of the dust choose the Living God over the gods and ways of the world; seeking God from free will, believing and confessing thru faith that Christ is Lord.
